9/19/2008 - 9/21/2008   Adirondack Hot Air Balloon Festival 36th annual festival. Spectacular, over 100 hot air balloons go up at dawn and dusk on Saturday and Sunday at Warren County Airport. Other events surround the festival, antique and craft shows. Time: 3 days

12/31/2008 - 1/1/2009   New Years Eve/Dessert and Champagne Hour Join us to ring in the New Year at the Lamplight Inn. Enjoy one of the Inns romantic fireplace or fireplace/Jacuzzi bedrooms. Instead of holding a splashy New Years Eve party, we have chosen to let the guests go to a local restaurant earlier fo an intimate dinner, then between 11:30 pm and 12:30 am we will kick off the New Year with champagne and a variety of desserts. The Champagne will be served in our engraved Lamplight Inn flutes which you can keep as a remembrance. Time: 11:30 pm to 12:30 am
